Milton Brown
A well known watercolourist specialising in ships and
seascapes, his works are often recognisable as much by the deep colour

Born in Liverpool, he studied at Liverpool School of Art
(1888 - 1900). He exhibited at RI (Royal institute for Painters in
Watercolour), the Walker Art Gallery - Liverpool and the RCamA (Royal
Cambrian Academy) of which he became President in 1937. He was also
president of other art institues including the Liverpool Academy of
Arts and the Flintshire Art Society.
