Garman Morris
Morris flourished between about 1900 - 1930 mainly painting seascapes.
He is known to have exhibited watercolours in Exeter in 1906 &
1907 and some of his works were made into prints. C. W. Faulkner
also published some of his coastal scenes as postcards.
The Dictionary of Neglected Artists (1880 - 1950) suggests that
he also painted under the name G. M. Avondale.
The painting is in fair condition. There is some foxing. It has
been re-framed.
