Henry Rayner An etcher and printmaker, Henry Rayner was born in Australia and worked there before coming to Britain in about 1924. He studied at the Royal Academy and was a friend of Walter Sickert. He was badly wounded in the blitz and became reclusive towards the end of his life. Henry Rayner is represented in the Ashmolean Museum, the Queen's Collection,
The National Portrait Gallery and many other museums and art galleries
including the National Gallery of Australia.
