is towards the isles of Rhum and Eigg as seen from a cove just off the
road between Arisaig and Mallaig. A watercolourist whose work was exhibited at the Royal Academy, and seems to be becoming increasingly popular. Mary Bird studied at Heatherley's School of Fine Art and went on to show at Fine Art Society, where she had frequent one-man shows, RA, RSW (Royal Scottish Watercolour Society), RBA (Royal Society of British Artists) and a Paris salon. Many of her works have been reproduced by the Medici Society and one of her works is illustrated in Percy V Bradshaw's Watercolour: A Truly English Art.
